Since the formation of the Wayanad District in 1980, the Wayanad District Sports Council has been formed with respected District Collector Sri V Vasudevan Nair as President and Mr. EP Isaac as the Secretary in 1982. At present, 121 athletes are training in athletics, fencing and archery volleyball from hostels located at Kalpatta, Pulpally, Sulthan Bathery.

Now we launching our big two projects and proudly presenting to sports lovers of wayanad district. First one is modern stadium finishing construction phases in 7.88 acres and second is an indoor stadium in Ambilery under care of Kalpetta Municipality.
